Important! Unlike the Gauquelins (Sorbonne Univ. France, in late 1980s) whose 'clustered' samples included ONLY soldiers, or athletes, etc. in their statistical studies, of which I was strongly critical in 1989 (published), my sample includes people from ALL walks of life. WHY? Because suppose it appears that Mars in Taurus (say) conjunct Saturn may have something to do with why soldiers became soldiers. But with my sample, if I see that Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama, and Einstein ALSO have this pattern, I would be less inclined to reach such a conclusion. So my sample has this very significant ways of checking itself, and my conclusions. This is essential for studying something as elusive as astrologic patterns, which the Gauquelins avoided. People are like diamonds, with many facets, talents, dispositions, AND they respond to circumstances & opportunities. Moreover, there are ALSO factors exogenous to astrology at work, such as mixed genes, environment, upringing, education, selfwill, etc. Astrologers should NOT insist on seeing people as pre-destined clones of astrology only. They are NOT.
